Notes: The Olympic Torch is due to pass by locally, from Wells, through Shepton Mallet, Frome, Bradford-on-Avon, Bath, Bitton, Longwell Green and then on to Bristol. As Morris dancing appears to have been overlooked as an olympic sport, Priston Jubilee Morris alongside many other Morris sides will be dancing along the torch’s route to celebrate the year of the 2012 Olympics in London and to show them what they’re missing. Come and join the revelries at Bitton Ststion (part of the Avon Valley Railway), as we dance the torch onwards with Somerset Morris.

Priston Jubilee Morris will be adding to the spectacle this year, by providing street entertainment in the centre of Bath, finishing at the Old Green Tree in Green Street.
